Morton is a 35+ year insurance professional, starting with his employment as a casualty underwriter with Hartford Insurance company after graduating SDSU with a bachelor's degree in finance.  For the last 15 or so years Morton has been a producer and former executive with Orion Risk Management. 

Morton has experience with all levels and types of businesses, business owners and insurance programs, giving him a unique perspective that only comes from a battle-hardened career.  From captives and high-deductible risk-taking insurance to small commercial, Morton has managed or been involved with most scenarios you might expect. Morton is a fierce advocate for his clients, especially at the most critical times when claims threaten your business. Morton has successfully advocated for and improved many outcomes with insurance companies who were reluctant to settle fairly with their policyholders.
