Well suited to lead and deliver the unconventional , Laverne has been a leader in the commercial insurance business world for many years. Joining a large direct writer in 1973 as the first woman account executive & the third in the United States in this position she has continued to lead.

In 1988 Laverne founded Friedmann & Friedmann insurance Services & continued to build the agency with her family & staff. Friedmann & Friedmann was by recognized Orange County Business Journal  as woman owned business as well as a family owned business.

In 2017 The Friedmann team joined Orion Risk Management, becoming part of the management team continuing to deliver consistently excellent service.
