Braden Cluck, CIC
Senior Account Executive
Braden Cluck is a Senior Account Executive with Orion Risk Management, an Alera Group Company where he is primarily involved with clients in the construction space and their risk management program. He manages the day-to-day needs of clients and spearheads their insurance and risk management program and coverage placements. He also advises clients on risk management, risk transfer, indemnification, contracts, market issues and relevant trends in the industry. He serves as their trusted business advisor.
Experience
Braden joined Aon in June 2014 out of college and part of the Launch program, Aon’s accelerated college graduate program. He started as an Associate Broker, working in the West Coast Brokerage unit in the Construction Services Group (CSG). There he dealt with large annually renewable programs, wrap up programs and national construction companies. From December of 2016 through April of 2018 he was a junior Account Executive handling the SME Construction book of business. This consisted of contractors of all sizes (predominantly in the southern CA middle market segment). In May of 2018, Braden joined Orion Risk Management in their Newport Beach office where he oversees a team who is responsible for both the day-to-day servicing of clients along with directing and implementing the overall strategy of his client’s risk management programs.
Education
Braden received his Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in 2014 and earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC designation) in 2019 and is looking to pursue an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation along with his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and CRIS designations.

Braden has worked with clients in a variety of industries that span the construction and non-construction arena. They include street and road contractors, large general contractors (commercial and residential), electrical contractors, engineering firms, security guards, landscapers, developers, produce distributors, manufacturers, tenant improvement contractors, wholesalers, homebuilders, and multi-family developers and owners. From practice programs to project specific solutions he has been exposed to every corner of the insurance industry with the understanding that the risks are constantly evolving, and tailored solutions are needed to properly address the everchanging risks presented.
